Work you’ll do

 

  1. Engagement management:

 

  • Perform work done in accordance with the Firm’s quality control for information/documents/financial reports under the tasks assiged by the Team leader/Manager in charge of audit team, allocate tasks to subordinates to prepare those documents and be responsible for managing the quality of work and deadlines done by the subordinates.
  • Proactively assist Team Leader/Senior Manager/Manager in dealing with clients’ requests/ issues related to professional and technical knowledge through Vietnam accounting/auditing system, current financial management regulations, Deloitte approach and other related regulations.
  • Assist Team Leader in: (i) Completion financial obligations of the Contract  with  the Company after providing service (following up with billing and collection); (ii) Completion administrative obligations with the Company after providing services  (archiving, documentation, reports, working papers in compliance with the quality control procedures of the Firm)
  • Manage work of the subbordinates including allocation of work, guiding and reviewing work of subordinates ensuring quality compliance.
  • Perform training-on-job, mentoring and coaching for subordinates in the engagements.
  • Review performance of the subordinates through frequent quality performance conversation
  • Ensure all Code of Conduct, Ethics, Independence and Security requirements are fully complied. Ensure the confidentiality of the documents and working papers of clients during work process

 

  1. Learning and Development:
  • Participate in various technical and talent courses in the Audit Learning curriculum designed annualy as required for the level;
  • On-the-job training by Managers through direct interaction on assigned engagements;
  • Self develop, both technically and softskills through self-paced learning via Deloitte Learning Platforms and Deloitte resources.
  • Ensure the minumum learning hours as required by the Function for the level professional development.
  • Continually develop self to meet with the requirements of the Global Talent Standards (GTS) for Audit professionals at senior level. Conduct the capability assessment against the GTS annually to have action plans for self development for higher level.

 

  1. Reports and Communication
  • Regularly report on the progress of the work within the assigned scope to meet the requirements of the content, presentation method and the deadline;
  • Update and get consultation with the team leader when facing dificulties during course of work implementation
  • Response timely to team leader when requested. Complete working papers and reports at request of the team leader and ensure that the service quality control objectives are met
  • Stay connected with the team via different communication channels of the Firm, whether working online or offline.

Requirements

 

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, auditing, finance, banking.

2. Having at least two (02) years’ experience in performing accounting services or auditing and assurance services to clients.

3. Professional qualifications (CPAVN, ACCA, CPAA, ICAEW) is preference

4. Having knowledge or background in computer science, data science, data analytics, programming, Power BI, SQL language is a priority

5. Excellent English language skills, competent computer skill. Ability to use other languagues (Chinese, Japanse, Korea) is a plus

6. Good communication skills, analytical thinking, ability to work in team; frequent travelling
